Graduated with honors from the Medical Faculty of the Yaroslavl State Medical Academy (1995). After graduating from clinical residency in specialty "urology," he continued to work at the Department of Urology with Nephrology at the YSMA - assistant (since 1997), associate professor (since 2007). From 2011 to the present - head of the department. Candidate of Medical Sciences since 2000, Doctor of Medical Sciences since 2009. Approved in the academic rank of associate professor in 2008, in the academic rank of professor in specialty 14.01.23 - "urology" - in 2016. Author of 480 scientific and educational works dedicated to topical issues of urology, nephrology, pediatric urology and pathological anatomy. Under his leadership, 5 candidate and 1 doctoral dissertations were defended.

He is a Member of the Board of the Russian Society of Urology (ROU), Chairman of the Yaroslavl regional branch of the ROU, chief specialist urologist of the Department of Health and Pharmacy of the Yaroslavl Region, a member of the Editorial Board of the Urological Vedomosti journal.

The main areas of professional activity are andrology, urogynecology, laparoscopic urology.
